🍽️ After breakfast, meet your private Egyptologist guide for a full-day tour exploring some of Egypt’s most iconic ancient wonders.

Giza Pyramid Complex:

Visit the legendary Giza Plateau, home to the Pyramids of Khufu (Cheops), Khafre (Chephren), and Menkaure (Mycerinus). Explore the three main pyramids, six smaller “queen” pyramids, the Great Sphinx — the world’s largest monumental sculpture carved from a single limestone ridge — and the Valley Temple of Khafre. Dating back to the 4th Dynasty (around 2400 B.C.), this complex offers a glimpse into the ingenuity of ancient Egyptian civilization.

Lunch: Enjoy a delicious meal at one of Cairo’s finest local restaurants, sampling authentic Egyptian cuisine.

Sakkara Step Pyramid:

Discover the Step Pyramid of King Djoser, the first monumental stone building in human history. Originally intended as a simple mastaba, it evolved through multiple stages into the iconic stepped form, reaching nearly 200 feet (60 meters) in height — a true architectural marvel of the 3rd Dynasty.

Memphis City:

Visit the ancient city of Memphis in the village of Mitrahina, approximately 20 km (12.5 miles) south of Cairo. Founded as a royal citadel in the Early Dynastic Period, Memphis became the political and cultural capital under the Old Kingdom, strategically located between Upper and Lower Egypt. Known as “the balance of the two lands,” it played a central role in Egypt’s history.

🚗 At the end of the day, you’ll be comfortably driven back to your hotel to relax after an unforgettable journey through Egypt’s ancient treasures.

🍽️ After breakfast at your hotel, check out and meet your private Egyptologist guide for a day exploring Cairo’s most iconic highlights:

The Egyptian Museum:

Visit the National Egyptian Museum, home to the world’s largest collection of ancient Egyptian artifacts. Discover over 150,000 genuine items spanning 5,000 years of history, including the treasures of Tutankhamun and artifacts dating back to 4000 B.C. The museum is located in bustling Midan al-Tahrir and offers a fascinating journey through Egypt’s rich past.

Lunch: Enjoy a delicious meal at one of Cairo’s finest local restaurants, sampling authentic Egyptian cuisine.

Salah El Din Citadel:

Explore the impressive Citadel of Cairo, built under the Ayyubid dynasty between 1176 and 1182, and later expanded as the residence of Mamluk and Ottoman pashas. This historic fortress dominates the city skyline and offers panoramic views of Cairo.

The Alabaster Mosque of Mohamed Ali:

Within the Citadel, visit the magnificent Alabaster Mosque, commissioned by Khedive Mohamed Ali (reigned 1805–1848). Standing on the site of the old sultan’s palace, its elegant twin minarets reach 80 meters (269 ft), making it one of Cairo’s most iconic landmarks.

Khan El Khalili Bazaar:

Drive to Islamic Cairo and wander through the historic Khan El Khalili Bazaar, one of the oldest and most famous markets in the Middle East. Shop for souvenirs, spices, jewelry, and enjoy the vibrant atmosphere of this cultural gem.

✈️ At the end of the tour, you will be transferred to Cairo Airport to catch your flight to Aswan. Upon arrival, a private transfer will take you to your 5-star hotel for an overnight stay and relaxation.

🍽️ After breakfast at your hotel, YourTourGuide will pick you up for a day of exploration in Aswan, highlighting its modern and ancient marvels:

The High Dam:

Visit the Aswan High Dam, one of Egypt’s most important engineering achievements of the 20th century. Completed after the 1952 Revolution, it provides water, electricity, and protection from destructive Nile floods, symbolizing Egypt’s modern era of progress.

The Unfinished Obelisk:

Discover the Unfinished Obelisk, the largest known of its kind, carved directly from granite. Commissioned by Queen Hatshepsut, who ruled Egypt jointly with Thutmose III (1478–1458 B.C.), this site offers insight into ancient Egyptian quarrying and stone-working techniques.

Philae Temple:

Explore the Temple of Isis on Philae Island, originally called “Apo” (Ivory) and later known as “Elephantine” by the Greeks. After the construction of the High Dam, the temple was carefully relocated to Agilika Island, meticulously reconstructed to replicate its original setting.

🚢 Embark on your Nile cruise before lunch, with the afternoon offering an optional Felucca tour around the Aswan Islands (additional cost) for a serene Nile experience.

🏨 Overnight stay in Aswan with the opportunity to disembark and explore the city. Optional day trips to the Abu Simbel temples are also available (additional cost).

🚢 Sail along the Nile to Kom Ombo and explore its fascinating temple complex:

Kom Ombo Temple:

Visit the unique Temple of Kom Ombo, built during the Greco-Roman period between 205–180 B.C. under Ptolemy V. Constructed on the site of an older temple called "Per Sobek" (House of the Crocodile God), this remarkable site is dedicated to two gods, featuring dual entrances, two hypostyle halls, and twin sanctuaries — a rare architectural design in ancient Egypt.

🚢 Continue your leisurely Nile cruise northwards to Edfu.

🏨 Overnight stay aboard the cruise in Edfu, with the evening free to relax and enjoy the river views.

🚢 Sail to Edfu and visit one of Egypt’s most stunning temples:

Edfu Temple:

Explore the Temple of Horus in Edfu, considered one of the most beautiful and best-preserved temples in Egypt. Construction began during the reign of Ptolemy III (around 237 B.C.) and was completed under Ptolemy IV. Its grand architecture and intricate hieroglyphics offer an unparalleled glimpse into Ptolemaic Egypt.

🚢 Continue sailing north along the Nile to Luxor.

Luxor Temple:

Discover the magnificent Luxor Temple, known in the New Kingdom as Ipt-Rsyt, or “Southern Sanctuary,” to distinguish it from Karnak, the “Northern House of Amun.” Primarily built by Amenhotep III and Ramses II, this temple is renowned for its majestic columns, statues, and historical significance.

✨ Optional: Attend the Sound and Light Show at Karnak Temple in the evening (additional cost) for a magical experience of ancient history brought to life.

🏨 Overnight stay aboard the cruise in Luxor, enjoying the tranquil Nile views.

🍽️ After breakfast on your cruise, check out and meet your private Egyptologist guide. You will be transferred in a comfortable air-conditioned vehicle to explore Luxor’s most iconic sites.

🎈 Optional: Experience a breathtaking hot air balloon ride over Luxor’s West Bank (additional cost) for stunning aerial views of the Nile and ancient monuments.

The Valley of the Kings:

Visit the burial grounds of the Pharaohs from the 18th to 20th Dynasties. For over 500 years, tombs were constructed here, including those of Ramses II and the young Pharaoh Tutankhamun. The valley was famously rediscovered in 1922 by British archaeologist Howard Carter, offering an unparalleled insight into ancient Egyptian funerary practices.

The Temple of Hatshepsut:

Explore the mortuary temple of Hatshepsut, ancient Egypt’s first female Pharaoh. She rose to power during the New Kingdom after the death of her father, Thutmose I, and her half-brother/husband, Thutmose II. The temple’s elegant terraces and colonnades are a testament to her legacy.

The Colossi of Memnon:

Stop for photos at the Colossi of Memnon — two massive quartzite statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III, originally part of a grand mortuary temple, transported over 700 km from Cairo to Luxor. These iconic statues have stood as silent guardians for millennia.

Lunch: Enjoy a delicious meal at one of Luxor’s top local restaurants, sampling authentic Egyptian cuisine.

Karnak Temples:

Visit the awe-inspiring Karnak Temple complex, the largest religious center ever built in Egypt. Walk through the Great Hypostyle Hall, explore sacred sanctuaries, and admire the temple’s sacred lake. Over centuries, generations of pharaohs inscribed their names and achievements on its walls, leaving a legacy for eternity.

🚗 At the end of the day, you will be transferred in a private air-conditioned vehicle to Luxor airport to catch your flight to Cairo, check-in your hotel in Cairo for overnight relaxation.
