🏺 What is the Valley of the Kings?

Located on Luxor’s West Bank, the Valley of the Kings is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Egypt’s most iconic archaeological treasures. It served as the royal burial ground for Pharaohs such as Ramses II, Ramses III, Ramses IX, and Tutankhamun. Over 60 tombs have been discovered — each carved into the mountainside and adorned with vivid hieroglyphs and sacred scenes depicting the Pharaoh’s journey to the afterlife.

🚐 How to Get There from Hurghada

The journey from Hurghada to Luxor takes approximately 4–5 hours by air-conditioned car or minivan. Most guided tours begin early morning and include other highlights like Karnak Temple and the Temple of Hatshepsut. It’s a long but unforgettable day!
