The Karnak Temples:
No site in Egypt is more impressive than Karnak Temples, where generations of pharaohs wished to record their names. Walk through the Great Hypostyle Hall, to reach the sacred lake of the temple, The Karnak complex is actually three main temples situated on 247 acres of land considered as the largest religious center ever built.
Luxor Temple:
The temple has been in almost continuous use as a place of worship right up to the present day. During the Christian era, the temple’s hypostyle hall was converted into a Christian church, and the remains of another Coptic church can be seen to the west. Then for thousands of years, the temple was buried beneath the streets and houses of Luxor. Eventually the mosque of Sufi Shaykh Yusuf Abu al-Hajjaj was built over it. This mosque was carefully preserved when the temple was uncovered and forms an integral part of the site today.
For the rest of the Day you will be free to relax, shop in the bazaar (open until quite late) or perhaps experience the atmosphere of a local tea house.

The Valley of the Kings:
Visit the famous burial ground of pharaohs from the 18th to 20th Dynasties. Over a span of 500 years, tombs were constructed here for rulers including Pharaoh Ramses II and the boy king Tutankhamun. Discovered in 1922 by British archaeologist Howard Carter, this valley remains one of Egypt’s most significant archaeological sites.
The Temple of Hatshepsut:
Explore the mortuary temple of Hatshepsut, Egypt’s first female pharaoh. She ascended the throne during the New Kingdom following the death of her father, Thutmose I, and her half-brother/husband Thutmose II.
The Colossi of Memnon:
Stop for a photo opportunity at the Colossi of Memnon, two enormous quartzite statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III, remnants of a once-grand mortuary temple. The statues were transported over 700 km from Cairo to Luxor.
Return to your cruise for a delicious lunch. Enjoy leisure time on deck or in your cabin as the boat sails towards Edfu. The journey typically lasts from 1:00 PM to 11:00 PM, passing through the Esna Lock (which may take extra time depending on river traffic).

Edfu Temple:
Dedicated to Horus, the falcon-headed god, Edfu Temple is one of the best-preserved ancient sites in Egypt. Construction began under Ptolemy III around 237 BC and was completed during the reign of Ptolemy IV. Marvel at the temple’s monumental pylons, intricate hieroglyphs, and sacred reliefs that recount the myths of Horus and his battles with Seth.
Return to your cruise and relax on the sundeck as you sail upriver. Enjoy scenic views of lush riverbanks, desert hills, local fishermen casting nets, and farmers tending the fields along the Nile.

Constructed during the Greco-Roman period (205–180 BC) under Ptolemy V on the site of an older temple called “Ber-Sobek” (House of Sobek), this unique temple is dedicated to both Sobek, the crocodile god, and Horus the Elder. The temple is symmetrically divided into two sections, featuring dual entrances, hypostyle halls, and sanctuaries, each devoted to its respective deity.
After exploration, return to your cruise and continue your journey towards Aswan.

The High Dam of Aswan:
A modern marvel of engineering, the Aswan High Dam was built in the 1960s and remains one of Egypt’s most significant achievements. The Unfinished Obelisk:
Discovered in its original granite quarry, the Unfinished Obelisk is the largest known obelisk ever started in ancient Egypt. Philae Temple:
